When you pass through the gates of Furman University, you find yourself immersed in the tranquility of giant oaks. Under this canopy, you experience the vision of men and women who saw beyond the barren landscape of the 1950s to create a unique environment for living and learning that would grow more lovely over the years.

Through the Living Tribute program, you may plant or adopt a tree, or place a bench on campus in honor of a loved one or a special professor. In so doing, you link the honoree’s name with this legacy of grace and beauty. The cost depends upon the size, variety and location of the tree or bench you select. Your gift covers the cost of purchasing, planting and maintaining the tree or bench, as well as a commemorative plaque.

To discuss the Living Tribute program, please contact Rebecca Bilott, by phone, 864.294.3704, or by email, rebecca.bilott@furman.edu.
