Furman\u2019s liberal arts approach to education will make you a well-rounded student who can thrive in the ultra-competitive world of medical-related studies.<\/p>\n<p>A bachelor\u2019s degree in health sciences is an excellent foundation for graduate school and post-graduate studies.<\/p>\n<p>The nationally recognized Furman Institute of Running and Scientific Training (FIRST) gives our students an opportunity to participate along with the FIRST faculty in physiological and biomechanical research.<\/p>\n<p>For those interested in a public health career, there are opportunities for internships with Health Sciences faculty who are lead organizers and researchers with public health initiatives associated with LiveWell Greenville and the award-winning Legacy Charter School.
