Thomas<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dr. Thomas\u2019s first book-length scholarship on comic books, <em>Black Widow Underestimated and Hypersexualized<\/em>, is intended for a wide range of readers, from fans to educators and scholars.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The publisher description notes: \u201cThe overview and analysis explore the contradiction between Black Widow\u2019s enduring popularity and the limited commitment to her solo series and character development in print.
