The Furman Economic Society (FES) and Furman University Women in Economics (FUWIE) regularly organize speakers and panels on a range of topics in economics, and the American Enterprise Lecture is a signature annual event of the Department of Economics.<\/p>\n<p><strong>American Enterprise Lecture<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The American Enterprise Lecture provides an opportunity to showcase the diversity of economic research and ideas. Each year, a distinguished expert is invited to deliver the American Enterprise Lecture, funded by Marsh McLennan.
