This award provides a tuition grant and stipend for three years of graduate studies. Goldwater Scholarship<\/h3>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/goldwater.scholarsapply.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation<\/a> is committed to providing a source of highly qualified scientists, mathematicians, and engineers by awarding scholarships to college students who intend to pursue research careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The <a href=\"https:\/\/newspress.furman.edu\/2015\/04\/furman-selected-to-participate-in-beckman-scholars-program\/?_ga=2.111418887.22595501.1571632249-1167518916.1538603976\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">chemistry department at Furman has received continuous funding since the inception of the program<\/a>.
