Why Furman? When I visited Furman's campus I didn't have an official tour scheduled, but when I looked lost wandering around campus 2 students offered to show me around and talk to me about how much they loved Furman. From that moment on I knew Furman would be a place where I would be welcomed and could grow. Furman has a knack for helping you to find the perfect path to optimize opportunities (like Study Abroad, Research, or Internships), create lasting relationships, and prepare you for a future career.

Which professor has made the biggest impact on you while at Furman, and why? Dr. Longest in the sociology department has continued to encourage my curiosity for learning through 2 summers of research and a core research class! He has made extra efforts to ensure my success and helped me to be more precise and clear in my writing.

What is your favorite Furman memory? My favorite Furman memory was when I returned back to campus from a semester abroad I was swarmed by the friends I had missed so much! It reminded me that the people I found at Furman are my home.

What is your favorite thing spot/activity to do in Greenville? I love walking around Falls Park with some ice cream from Spill the Beans. It is such a beautiful place to enjoy friendship, good food, and nature!

In my spare time I like to... Practice yoga and dance, listen to true crime podcasts, try new restaurants with friends, and snuggle my dog!
