Why Furman? I chose Furman because of the small class sizes, close distance from home, talented and caring faculty, immense amount of opportunities, and the community.

Which professor has made the biggest impact on you while at Furman, and why? Dr. Francis-Ratte is a professor who has made one of the biggest impacts on me during my time at Furman. He is a great mentor who knows a lot about linguistics. He is also very passionate about teaching and you can clearly see that he wants his students to succeed. I am also thankful that he gave me the opportunity to do research and help me gain experience in computational linguistics, which I never would have done without his help.

What is your favorite Furman memory? One of my favorite Furman memories is performing at the International Dance Festival during my freshman year. Dancing in this festival was a big step for me because it pushed me out of my comfort zone and opened a new interest and passion to me.

What is your favorite thing spot/activity to do in Greenville? Biking on the Swamp Rabbit Trail

In my spare time I like to... Watch choreography videos and learn Kpop dances.
