Best thing about Furman:  The collaborative effort with faculty, staff, and students to continue to make “The Furman Experience” stronger each year.

Hobbies/interests: Playing golf, exercising, and playing with my two boys.

Most frequently asked question and answer: What do you look for in applicants?  We look for the well-rounded student and want a student who will come to campus, make an impact, be involved, and make a difference.  We look for students who have been successful academically and who have been involved in their schools and community.

Best piece of advice for prospective students: Be sure to brag about yourself when you are applying to college.  Modesty is a virtue, but the application for both admission and merit scholarships is not the time to be humble!

Random/fun fact about me: I’ve had three ACL surgeries on my knees…not fun!
