How We Can Help You

In the Writing & Media Lab (WML), our trained student Consultants provide one-on-one or small group assistance with student writing and multimedia projects.

We can help with:

  1. brainstorming a paper or project
  2. outlining your ideas
  3. reading through your writing
  4. creating a presentation or poster
  5. helping you practice your presentation
  6. planning a video or podcast
  7. revising, proofreading, or editing

Collaboration and conversation are a vital part of scholarly work at the college level, and everyone can benefit from talking about their ideas! When you visit the Writing & Media Lab, one of our student Consultants will meet with you individually, ask questions, and engage with you in meaningful conversation about your project or writing with a goal of helping you clarify your thoughts and improve your writing processes.
