New Fellows (First Year)
Start by finding out about yourself. What motivates you? What are
your strengths as an individual and as a leader? What strategies do you
rely on to get the job done? What is your role in a group setting?
Participate in activities that will build confidence and self-awareness
as well help you focus on your passions. These sessions include topics
such as: Junior Achievement, Expectations of Great Leaders,
Professionalism and Etiquette, Strengths Quest, and Finding/Following
Sophomore Fellows (Second YeaR)
Collaborate in teams to integrate your values, skills, and dreams in real-life leadership challenges. Leadership Challenge Project Teams are charged with creating and executing a project that solves a specific problem facing the Furman or Greenville community. You'll work in small teams, guided by a challenge mentor, to raise awareness and develop a solution. To support you in your project experience, you'll participate in workshops about event planning, public speaking, networking, and advocacy. Sophomore Fellows will also learn about leadership strategies, creativity, innovation, and team dynamics through an experiential program held at Walt Disney World.
