Living Communities Engaged Living Furman University

Your fellow Engaged Living residents will be your lifelong friends. You’ll experience living and learning together, so you all will have a mutual understanding that leads to more meaningful relationships. However, you will also have a lot of fun together!

You’ll all live together in Townes Residence Hall or McBee Residence Hall, part of Lakeside Housing. You’ll enjoy suite-style bathrooms and a common kitchen area to cook dinners with fellow residents on your floor. You can also take advantage of the game room and hang out with friends when you need to take a break from studying in the parlors.

From "painting up" at Furman football games to building a homecoming float for the school's annual Homecoming Week spirit competition, you'll be among some of the most active students on campus. You'll have opportunities to socialize with your classmates over meals hosted by Engaged Living faculty, and celebrate your successful completion of your first year at Furman during an awards ceremony.
