What is Furman Connections?
Furman Connections is an annual networking reception that provides Furman students with the opportunity to connect with professionals representing a wide-range of organizations and industries. Employment recruiters, as well as Furman alumni and parents are invited to introduce their companies, discuss potential internship and full-time employment needs, share their personal career journey and impart professional wisdom with students. This event provides a friendly space for students to practice their networking skills and gain valuable information, all while expanding their professional network.
Is there a cost to attend?
No, Furman Connections is free for students, but you do need to pre-register by October 31st. Click here to register!
What should I wear to the event?
All guests are encouraged to be dressed in business casual attire.
Do I need to bring my resume?
No, you shouldn't bring your resume into the networking space but there will be an opportunity for participating seniors to submit their resumes to resume books via the Paladin Job Board. These resume books will be sent to the Furman Connections employers seeking full-time candidates. Instructions will be forthcoming.
