Staff Advisory Committee Mission Statement
Established in 1998, the Staff Advisory Committee (StaffAC) is an advisory group of Furman employees representing all major areas of the university. Employees who do not serve on the faculty or on the Administrative Council are eligible for membership. Members typically serve two years but have an option to serve a third year. Committee members select new members after determining which campus departments need representation and whom in those departments are willing to serve. StaffAC members volunteer their time with approval from their immediate supervisors.
StaffAC?s mission is to be an effective ?voice of the staff? with the following priorities:
- To increase communication between staff and the administration
- To enhance staff morale
