We recognize that our success as a department is dependent upon our working together as a team, and we believe in providing a nurturing environment where people are allowed to be creative.
The Office of Marketing and Public Relations coordinates and oversees the marketing and communications efforts of the university, and provides timely information to its internal and external audiences. Its goal is to increase public awareness of the university through effective marketing principles and communication strategies that enhance Furman’s image with a consistent, unified message. The department works with faculty, staff, students, alumni and the public to promote Furman’s priorities and create a more complete understanding of the university and its mission.
