Description: Slow Food Upstate Executive Director
Contact Information: janettewwesley@yahoo.com
Comment: Jan is an avid slow food enthusiast. She not only runs the Slow Food Upstate chapter, but also started the Earth Market farmers market (the only Earth Market in the United States - no GMOs, all organic, all local farmers selling goods). Jan along with her husband Renato Vicario also owns and operates a villa / farm in Tuscany which produces olive oil and wine. Renato would also be interesting as a speaker as he teaches cooking classes for Slow Food Upstate and has written a book on Italian liqueurs.
