The
Richard W. Riley Institute Guests of 2004-05
Another exciting
year! The Riley Institute, created in 1999, has matured into a
major force in the academic and engaged learning capacities of
Furman University. With 18 programs focused on civic participation
and responsibility, political leadership, and public policy discussion
and analysis, the institute operates year round and is a center
of programming and activity for Furman students and the citizens
of South Carolina. In many ways, the “crown jewel”
of the Riley Institute is our national conference, which attracts
large numbers of students, as well as people from across the region.
