Collaboration and Discovery at Furman

For many years, faculty and students at Furman have collaborated on projects that generate new pathways of discovery, influence career choices and deepen the educational bond between professor and student.  Furman has received national recognition for its success in developing and encouraging these types of projects.

This Web page, and the 2006-07 University Report from which it is adapted, illustrates how these collaborative experiences impact students’ academic goals and subsequent pursuits, and demonstrates the across-the-curriculum emphasis on engaged learning for which Furman is well known.

In addition to the text of the report in PDF form, this page includes audio and video clips that expand on selected topics featured in the publication.
