FURMAN CLUB SWIMMINGThe Furman Swim Club exists to promote recreational swimming and opportunities for competition. Swimmers from all ability levels are welcome and encouraged to participate! Looking for more info about swimming at Furman? E-mail jimmy.hoke@furman.edu or furmanswimming@yahoo.com for more details.
Practices: We hold hour-long practices Monday through Thursday during the academic year. In order to accommodate as many schedules as possible, we break into 3-4 practice groups. Workouts are posted on the bulletin board near the women’s locker room, and there is a designated student leader present at each workout. Attendance is taken, and incentives are often offered for high attendance! For Winter and Spring 2008, Furman’s pool will be closed due to renovations to the PAC. Swim Club will continue to have practices at Westside Aquatics in Greenville. More information about practices, times, and carpools will be available soon. Questions about practices?
