Learn All About Environmental Activities on Campus at Furman's Sustainability Fair
GREENVILLE, S.C.-Furman University will sponsor a Sustainability Fair on campus Wednesday, Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The fair is designed to be a fun and educational way to increase awareness and interest about the range of sustainability related activities at Furman. The events will take place on the lower patio of the James B. Duke Library patio and around the library fountain.
In addition to numerous informational booths, the day will include students signing up to receive free drying racks from Wal-Mart, a dunking booth featuring Furman faculty and staff, bobbing for local apples, the kickoff of the North Villages Kill-A-Watt Challenge, and a solar power demonstration by SunStore.
The public is invited to attend.

10 a.m. Announcement of Sustainability Fair and the day's schedule; announcement of Sustainable Connections and Q and A
10:30 a.m. Dunking booth rotation (15 minute intervals)
11 a.m. Bobbing for local apples
Noon Dry Off! Wal-Mart formal recognition and thank you. Approximately 150 drying racks are free to students who want them. The students will agree to return the drying racks in good condition at the end of the year.
1 p.m. Kick Off! North Village Kill-A-Watt Challenge Q and A
1:30 p.m. SunStore Solar Power Demonstration - Bruce Wood
