Elite Mile Field 2007

Sam Burley — A 2003 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, he has personal best times of 1:45.39 for 800 meters and 3:51.38 for 1500 meters.  Burley was the 2003 NCAA 800 meter champion and a five-time NCAA All America.

Brandon Hudgins — A sophomore at Winthrop University, he is a former South Carolina Prep Champion in the mile.  He set the Winthrop school record in the 800 meters at 1:53.01, and ran the third leg of the school record 4 x 800 meter relay team.

Kyle King — In 2006, the Baylor University graduate ran 3:42.2 for 1500 meters. Earlier this year, he ran 7:55.5 for 3,000 meters (indoors) and, on Feb. 9, won the Tyson 5,000 (indoors) in 13:44.84.

Ryan Kleimenhagen — He is a 2005 graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Platteville.  During 2005, he placed fourth in the 1500 meters at the USATF Indoor Championships and set personal bests in the 800 meters (1:48.68) and in the 1500 meters (3:44.94). In 2006, he ran his first sub-four-minute mile by posting 3:59:00 at the Boston Indoor Games.

Patrick Morgan — The Furman sophomore was second in the 2006 Southern Conference cross country championships.  He was named All Conference after finishing second in the 800 meters at the 2006 outdoor league championships. He has a personal best time of 1:52.37 in the 800 meters.

Thomas Morgan — In addition to some strong road racing (seventh at the U.S. 10K championships), this University of Kentucky graduate lowered his 1,500 meters best twice, his 3,000 meters best twice and his 5,000 meters as well, running a club record 13:40.5 in Heusden, Belgium.

Brendan O'Keefe — His 2006 was strong after years of frustrating injuries.  The Brown University graduate concluded his season with 1,500-meter races of 3:45, 3:43 and, finally, 3:42.5.

Hunter Spencer — A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Spencer has a career best time of 3:40.91 in the 1500 meters.  He also has a career best of 3:59.2 in the mile.  In 2006, he finished ninth in the Fifth Avenue Mile and fifth in the 1500 meters at the USA Indoor Championship.

Palmer Thomas — A 1999 Furman graduate and a full-time dentist, Thomas has a personal best time of 4:00 in the 1500 meters and 4:14 in the mile (road).  He also has a personal best of 15:23 in the 5,000 meters.

Adam Van Nortwick — A senior at Appalachian State University, Van Nortwick’s personal best times are: 800 meters (1:52.34), 1,500 meters (3:47.63) and indoor mile (4:07.4).  He earned the men’s Most Outstanding Track Performer at the 2007 Southern Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Ryan Warrenburg - He was All-America in several events during his senior season at Arizona State.  He has personal best times of 13.43 in the 5,000 meters and 8:39 in the Steelechase.

Luke Watson — While attending Notre Dame, he was an eight-time All American, a six-time Big East Champion, and holder of five school records.  His personal best times are: mile (3:57.83), 3000 meters (7:49.56), 5000 meters (13:38.73) and Steeplechase (8:36.12).

Alan Webb — He is the 2005 USA Outdoor 1,500 meters Champion, 2004 Olympic Trials 1,500 meters champion and national high school record holder for indoor mile, outdoor mile and 1,500 meters. He was the 2001 Big Ten Conference Cross Country champion and the 2002 1,500 meters champion while at Michigan.  He has a personal best time of 3:48.92 in the mile and 3:32.52 in the 1500 meters.

Dan Wilson — A four-time Big East champion and five-time All American at the University of Connecticut, Wilson has recorded mile times of under four minutes in both indoor and outdoor meets, and has a personal best of 3:38:5 in the 1500-meters.
