331.2 Grounds Maintenance

 

A. Background

Facilities Services is charged with the responsibility to maintain the grounds of the university.

 

B. Policy

All maintenance and upkeep of the grounds of the university will be coordinated with and/or administered and supervised by the Department of Facilities Services.

 

C. Guidelines

Maintenance and Upkeep Routine maintenance and upkeep will be programmed and scheduled for the grounds and normally provided without charge to university departments. Requests for additional services may result in charges directly to the requesting department. Work will be performed by contractors supervised by Facilities Services or by in-house staff as appropriate. No other organization will be allowed to maintain any portion of the university grounds.
