194.1 Identification Cards

A. Background

In order that faculty members may be easily recognized and experience no difficulty in using the facilities of the University, an identification card is available for all faculty and staff members.

B. Policy

Each faculty member should have an I.D. card to identify him or her and his or her family members at various campus events and in using certain University facilities.

C. Guidelines

1. A new faculty member should have a picture made for the I.D. card during registration when the I.D. cards for students are being prepared.

2. There is no charge for the picture or card.

3. For some purposes, such as use of the Lay Physical Activities Center for recreation, a spouse and children may need individual cards which require no pictures and are issued for specified periods of time by the Office of the Coordinator of the Physical Activities Center.
