181.5 Faculty Discounts at University Store

A. Background

The University Store, operated by the University, is located on the lower level of the University Center. It carries textbooks, office supplies and equipment, sundries, books, some clothing, and other items for which there is sufficient demand on campus.

B. Policy

Faculty discounts are allowed on professional books.

C. Guidelines

1. A faculty member may receive the discount by presenting the identification card at the check-out counter at the time a purchase is made.

2. Faculty members desiring information about individual orders for books should contact the store's manager.

3. Textbook orders are submitted only through department chairs.

4. One free roll book may be obtained for each session.
