Alpha Delta Pi has long been involved in philanthropies. At the Grand Convention in 1979, the convention body voted to adopt the Ronald McDonald Houses (Children's Oncology Services, Inc.) as the new national philanthropy. The Ronald McDonald Houses are located throughout the world near hospitals and provide a "home away from home" for families with children suffering from cancer. Collegians and alumnae volunteer their time to work at the houses and sponsor fundraising events for the houses. Alpha Delta Pi was recognized by the houses in 1987 for having contributed over $2 million to the Ronald McDonald Houses. The Ronald McDonald House

RMH Greenville:  Living Room RMH Greenville:  Play Area Eta Phi contributes to the Ronald McDonald House of Greenville by volunteering every week and buying needed household items, as well as collecting pop tabs for the Charity.
Currently, RMH of Greenville is looking to expand their property and to help, Eta Phi holds an annual fundraiser called Hoops ‘n Hogs - a basketball tournament and hamburger eating contest.
The Eta Phi Chapter of ADPi is also very involved in Relay for Life at Furman University, an annual fundraiser benefitting the American Cancer Society that was brought to Furman by an ADPi! Each year, a contest is held to see which campus organization can raise the most money ... ADPi has won ever since the fundraiser began in 2000.  In 2007, ADPi raised over $23,000.
