Introducing: The Furman DX

You may have noticed the bright yellow and purple office located on the ground floor of the University Center. You may have already used the services of the Digital eXpress and experienced the pride of seeing your project professional produced. Furman has a state-of-the-art imaging office that is competitive with anyone on the outside for services and price.
With the help of Kearns Business Solutions, the DX as it is called is equipped with production size machinery that can meet all faculty/student and staff imaging needs.

Expanded Services
· Color Copying and Printing on new technologically advanced digital multifunctional machines offer perfect color matching.
· Black and white large volume copying and printing is accomplished on a tandem system of two large machines, doubling the capacity for printing jobs.
· Card stock copying and printing is produced on machines that are specially designed for heavier stock jobs.
· Large Format Poster/Banner is available upon request. Please consult with staff ahead of time to insure proper turnaround time and materials needed.
· Finishing jobs can be ordered through the DX. Folding, collating, stapling, hole punching, and binding can produce professional looking reports and programs.
· FAX.   Send and Receive using our high speed fax machine. Fax # 864-294-3923.
· Color paper purchases available.

Confidentiality
Anything that requires confidentiality can be printed in the Digital eXpress and maintained in one or two ways. You can contact the DX manager, Cindy Bagwell, and she will handle the job personally, or you can supervise the copy or print job yourself.

Convenience
The Digital eXpress is designed to handle jobs that are too time consuming for a general office copier. If you have a large job (500 prints or more), or if you have a job that will tie up your department copier, let the Digital Express do the job for you. Campus courier delivery is available.

The large-format full-color printer can produce banners and posters.

Save Money
Our pricing meets or beats anyone on the marketplace (unless it is a one-time sale). Large print jobs (generally jobs that would take 500 clicks or sheets) save .006 per copy over what it would cost to copy the same job off campus.

As part of the Furman’s Imaging Inititative, the DX was designed to take the load off the office copier while providing fast and efficient service to you.
