International Education:  Host Departments

Individuals with non-U.S. citizenship may be invited to come to Furman for the purpose of short-term educational and cultural exchange.  When departments would like to invite such a person to teach, consult, or perform research, that department serves as the host.  The responsible faculty or staff member should read the documents below and submit a completed Hosting Application below.

Keep in mind that in order to allow sufficient time for visitors to receive the necessary invitation and apply for a visa, the application below should be submitted at least three months prior to the visitor’s anticipated arrival date.
