The Internship Office provides students with guidance, information and tools to search for internships, to apply to existing internships and to develop internships to match their interests. Resources include one-to-one meetings to assist students in developing a personal plan, workshops, databases, web links, and contacts with Furman alumni and friends.

To find the United Way organization in a particular area, enter the zip code in the search box and click on the local United Way link. Click on Partner Agencies link or enter Partner Agencies in the search box to see a list of agencies sponsored by the United Way. Go to the local agency web-site in your area of interest to find volunteer opportunities that you can develop into internships.

OR

Click on Advocate or Volunteer under Education, Income or Health and click on an agency on the list or select Advanced Search to find the service agency and location where you can develop an internship based on a volunteer opportunity.

Non-profits also list internships in the general internships.
