International Internships

Untitled document

The Internship Office provides students with guidance, information and tools to search for internships, to apply to existing internships and to develop internships to match their interests. Resources include one-to-one meetings to assist students in developing a personal plan, workshops, databases, web links, and contacts with Furman alumni and friends.

International Internship information is available through three primary resources:

Non-profit International Internships
For international non-profit internships contact the Internship Office to request a spreadsheet of international opportunities.

International Internships in other sectors
The international resources spreadsheet lists web-sites with international internship opportunities. The spreadsheet includes a list of the countries and the types of programs for each web-site to allow you to use the "EDIT" "FIND" in the Excel toolbar to search for the countries you are most interested in or to go to the column showing the type of program you are interested in and scroll down to find the sites with these types of programs.

Furman University does not support internships in countries on the U.S. State Department Travel Warning List or U.S. Government Sanction List which are updated periodically. Internships in the countries on these lists will not be eligible for credit, Furman Advantage, insurance coverage, or Furman sponsorship in any form.
