Recycling and rebooting

Operation Reboot, a staff and student volunteer program that recycles old computers for reuse by non-profit organizations, received the 2003 InnoVision Community Service Award November 12.

Coming soon: The Younts Center

The Younts Conference Center and DeSantis Pavilion will host academic conferences, wedding receptions, corporate functions and other large gatherings. Work on the 13,000-square-foot center should begin early next year.

United Way: It's a wrap

Furman closed out the 2003 United Way campaign November 12 with a record $75,018.62 raised. Forty-nine percent of university employees contributed to this year's fundraising drive.
