John Grisham’s new book, The Brethren, contains a reference to Furman.
On page 145, in describing the background of one of the characters, Grisham writes, "He’s 48, divorced at least twice, native of Pennsylvania, college at Furman, law school at Florida State, got his license suspended eleven years ago for commingling client funds, then got it back."
