A great day for Furman Rugby
Furman Rugby celebrated its five year anniversary in style. The club presented Div. III championship rings to the men's team during a banquet Friday night and played its first ever alumni game Saturday (The FROGs -- Furman RUGBY Olde Guys -- won 45-17). Afterwards, the Furman women bested USC 24-17. Of Furman's 30 male rugby alumni, a remarkable number (24) travelled back to participate in this memorable Homecoming weekend.
