Meet Brad Barron
Brad E. Barron, a Pennsylvania native, has joined Furman as Associate Dean of Academic Records and University Registrar.
Barron received a B.S. degree in education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (Indiana, Pa.) in 1990 and an M.A. in higher education and student affairs from Ohio State University in 1993.
Before coming to Furman, Barron served four years as the registrar at Muhlenberg, a small liberal arts college located in Allentown, Pa. From 1994-97, Barron was enrollment data coordinator for Ohio Board of Regents.
Barron and his wife, Sarah Hunt-Barron, are expecting their second child in March. Henry, their son, is two years old. Brad Barron's hobbies include golf, tennis and basketball.
