Furman to co-host Democratic Presidential Debate

With Furman still basking in the glow of former First Lady Hillary Clinton's October visit, the university announced this month that it would be a player in yet another big political show. On January 29, Furman will co-host the Democratic Presidential Debate.

Cherrydale recognized by historic preservationists

Nearly five years ago, Furman saved the historic Cherrydale Mansion from certain demise when it moved the house from its original location on Poinsett Highway to the campus. This month, a group of historians gathered to say "Thank You".
