Do I have to be a Furman student to live on campus?:

No.  If you are working/interning in Greenville and need a place to live, you may submit the Summer Housing Application form to the Housing & Residence Life Office by 5 p.m., Monday, April 27.  You must also complete and return the Non-Furman Resident Deposit Form and $100 to the Student Business Center to serve as a summer housing damage deposit.  ***Furman students will be assigned before we can commit to housing non-Furman residents.***

Priority:

All students will be housed in North Village buildings A, B and C. Although Housing & Residence Life anticipates being able to accommodate all students who request summer housing, the staff reserves the right (based on space limitations) to deny summer housing to students who are not officially involved in some way with the University.

Housing & Residence Life must assign students to both private bedroom apartments and shared bedroom apartments.  Therefore, priority will be given to student requests based on their start-year in college.  For example, a third-year student will be given priority over a second-year student.

Payment:

You must pay your summer housing fees by going to the Student Business Center during the first week in campus housing.  You are also required to submit the Summer Payment Form.  Payment for the interim housing periods can also be paid at that office.  The Student Business Center is located in the administration building.  Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
