Spring Term Housing Plans
 

If you anticipate ANY change in your housing arrangement for spring term, or if you do not currently have an assignment for spring term because you are studying abroad, on leave of absence, filling in for another student, or are a commuter or transfer student please complete and submit this on-line form no later than Friday, February 8, 2008 at 5:00 p.m.  This information is crucial so that financial statements can be adjusted accordingly and so that the University Housing staff will have accurate information on available spaces.  If you DO NOT anticipate a change in your housing arrangements for spring term, please disregard this form.

PLEASE COMPLETE ONE OF THE FOUR SECTIONS BELOW:
1.  I will NOT be living in my current space during spring term for the following reason (please select one button):

* If you are transferring or withdrawing from the University, you MUST see Dr. Owen McFadden to complete an exit interview form.  His office is located in the PAC.  You may schedule an appointment to see him by calling his office at x2102.

2.  My roommate will be leaving at the end of winter term (please select one button):

 I would like to remain in my room/apt. and be assigned a new roommate.
 I would like to move to the following room/apt.  
 I would like to request  as my new roommate.

3.  I would like to change rooms or apartments for the spring term, or I must change rooms because I am currently filling-in for another student who is studying abroad.  My preferences (you may either provide a vacant space that you know about, the name of a student you want to live with, and/or a specific type of housing) are:

Note:  If you are currently assigned for spring term, you do not need to complete this form.  You may verify whether you are assigned already at Assignment Confirmation.

If you are leaving your present space for ANY reason at the end of the winter term, you MUST remove all of your belongings from that space before RA offices close on Sunday, February 24, 2008 at 10:00 a.m.  The room must be ready to be occupied by another student.  You must also return your key(s) to your appropriate RA office (Poteat, Judson, or NV J).  DO NOT exchange keys with the student who is moving into your room.   Failure to remove all belongings, have your room inventoried, and return your key WILL result in a bill for spring term housing fees and a minimum of a $75 assessment for improper checkout.  This policy is necessary to insure open spaces and keys for new students who move in when campus housing opens on March 1, 2008.
