All full-time students, except those who are married or living at home with their parents or guardians, are required to live on campus in university housing (these students MUST apply for this exemption through the University Housing office).  Rising fourth-year students may participate in a lottery to live off-campus for their fourth year.  The number allowed to live off-campus changes depending on current enrollment each year.  In addition, students, except upperclassmen living in campus apartments, are required to use Furman's meal plan.  Take the time to read through the Assignment Policies & Procedures.
