So that the best possible roommate selections can be made, Housing & Residence Life does not begin the matching/assignment process until roommate placement forms have been received by both Early and Regular Decision applicants. Therefore, you should expect to receive your room assignment and your roommate's name, address, telephone number and e-mail address in mid-July. In addition, you will receive an Orientation schedule and specific information about your arrival on campus. The residence halls open for new students on Friday, August 21, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. Because of a full program of summer conferences, the residence halls will not be ready for occupancy before that scheduled date. Therefore, we ask you to arrange your travel plans as not to arrive before then.
