Furman University Student Health Services is considered one of the
best health care centers in a small college setting. We are a member
of the American College Health Association and Southern College Health
Association. The health center, Earle Infirmary, is located near the
Lakeside Housing and James Buchanan Duke Library. It is named in memory
of Dr. Joseph Bayless Earle, a notable Greenville, S.C. physician
and 1885 graduate of Furman University.
Meningitis Vaccine Clinic
A meningitis vaccine clinic for all new students will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 from 11:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the Student Health Center.
