NSF Grant Guide Revisions
NSF has issued a revised version of its Grant Proposal Guide (GPG). The revision is effective for all proposals submitted on or after October 1, 2002. The revision contains changes to policies and procedures associated with proposal submission. One of the most important changes requires Principal Investigators to address the both merit criteria approved by the National Science Board. Each criterion requires a separate statement within the proposal's Project Summary and additional information in the Project Description. If the criteria are not addressed, NSF will return the proposal without review. Other revisions include:
* a caution that URLs should
not be used in proposals; all information that the reviewers need * inclusion of the new NSF research misconduct regulation;
* announcement of new FastLane enhancements concerning proposal
status and withdrawals; * other changes to conform the GPG with current NSF policies, practices and procedures. | |||
