Study Away Study Away CommitteeFaculty Constitution DescriptionArticle V., Sec. 5, (r) Study Away Committee. This committee is responsible for working with the administration and academic departments to develop and maintain study away programs. It shall also review affiliated and student exchange programs. In addition, it shall report and make recommendations to the faculty on the availability, affordability, and academic quality of the University’s study away programs. Operating PolicyStudy Away Committee Operating Policy How to Submit a Study Away Proposal * All new Study Away proposals must be developed in consultation with Kailash Khandke, Director of the Office for Study Away and International Education. * Visit the Study Away Moodle. On your first visit, you will be asked if you wish to enroll in the course. Once you do so, you will have access to the site. There is a link to the required forms as well as an area for uploading those forms and any supporting documentation. * Notify your department chair that you intend to submit a Study Away proposal. * Observe the proposal deadline: For the May 2010, Summer 2010, Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 terms, the deadline is Friday, October 2 at 5:00 PM. This is to enable review of the proposal by the Study Away Committee so that a recommendation can be made to the faculty before they consider approval at the November 2 meeting.
