The committee discussed 22 sabbatical leave applications for 2007-2008 and recommended to Dean Bartlett that all 22 faculty members be awarded their requested sabbatical leaves. The committee noted that seven of the faculty members are being considered for tenure and that their sabbatical leave proposals are contingent upon their being awarded tenure.

Faculty members this year are again eligible to apply for CAP sabbatical leaves. The deadline for applying is 2 February 2007. Thus, the time-frames for some of the recommended sabbatical leaves may change if faculty members are awarded a CAP sabbatical. Each RPG Committee member will be asked by Dean Bartlett to read and evaluate any CAP sabbatical proposals that are submitted.
