Willie Miller
Director of Golf
Willie
Miller has been at Furman University since 1979 when he began his career as
the university’s golf coach. During his tenure as golf coach Willie had
the privilege of coaching well know players such as Brad Faxon. Since that time
Willie has been inducted into the Golf Coach’s Association of America
Hall of Fame and has been the Director of Golf at Furman University Golf Club
for the past 11 years. Willie brings years of wisdom and experience to Furman
University Golf Club.
Kevin Dehlinger, PGA
Head Golf Professional
Kevin Dehlinger has been a Class A PGA Professional for 8 years and has been
a golf professional for 13 years. He is a graduate of Mississippi State University’s
Professional Golf Management program. Kevin has taken part in many youth organization
including serving on the board of directors of the Danville, Virginia First
Tee charity organization that introduced golf to youths. Kevin is an accomplished
player that brings his knowledge of several different areas of the golf industry
to the table.
Kyle Stam
PGA Apprentice
Kyle is in his 3rd year as an assistant golf professional at Furman University.
He is currently a level 2 apprentice in the PGA PGM program. Kyle attended Appalachian
State University where he graduated with a degree in Physical Education. He
also attended The Golf Academy of The Carolinas in Myrtle Beach. Kyle has conducted
clinics, group lessons, and individual lessons to all level of golfers.
