A new high tech feature is now available for golfers at the Furman Golf Club. Spin-A-Tour is a virtual tour software that allows the golfer to use tools to navigate and explore all 18 holes of the Furman Golf Club. Spin-A-Tour captures every visible inch of a hole with 360 degree views from at least three different spots on each hole. The unique exploration software also lets the golfer choose where they would like to go on each hole. Skip from hole one to hole five. Or click the arrow to see where you approach or tee shot is supposed to land. Use your mouse to zoom in and out on particular features of a hole. DRIVING RANGE RENOVATION COMPLETE
The driving range renovation that was undertaken in early February is now complete. The range tee will be closed until April; however, the range is OPEN. A temporary tee has been established in the front of the range. The renovation was undertaken as part of a continuing effort to improve the Furman Golf Club facility. The existing tee was removed then expanded from 9,000 square feet to 20,000 square feet and rotated slightly to the left to square the tee up to the fairway providing a more straight away shot for golfers practicing. The expansion help with tee conditions throughout the season allowing for more teeing area and much better grass coverage as areas of the tee will have more time to heal. Brand new high tech mats will be installed at the front of the range for times when the range tee is closed for maintenance or frost.
