Furman 5 USC 13 ('00-'01)
USC took advantage of Furman mistakes by going up 6-0 at the half. Furman surrendered a try early in the second half after a "rookie-mistake." Not discouraged, the team battled back for a try and pressured the Gamecocks throughout the second half, but could not score. Both teams played well.
Furman 40 The Citadel 20 ('00-'01)
Playing before dozens of parents, the Paladins started slow, surrendering an early 3-0 lead to the travelling Cadets. But midway through the first half the Paladins took control, scoring five consecutive trys. Furman leads the series against the Citadel 2-1.

Playing before a large Homecoming crowd, the Furman women's team dominated this contest throughout.
