Founded in 1998, the Furman Rugby Football Club, which includes both men's and women's teams, is just six years old. But the club has a loyal group of alumni that keep up with the teams' on-the-pitch accomplishments.
Members of FROG receive an annual mailed newsletter and are invited each year to participate in rugby alumni events during Homecoming. These festivities normally include an on-campus gathering Friday night, a FROG game Saturday morning and a tailgating and football game (for those interested) after the game. FROG also receive periodic email updates on scores and other club news. If you would like to be added to the email distribution list, please email Coach John Roberts.
Mark the weekend of November 6 on your calendar and plan to attend Homecoming festivities (including the annual FROG game). An itinerary of the weekend's events will be posted soon.
 The FROG jereseys have finally arrived! You may purchase yours for $60, which includes postage and handling. The jersey come in XL, L, M and S. Only the numbers 3, 23, 5, 20, 25, 1,18, 16, 6, 17, 22, 14, 9, 24, 19 and 21 are remaining. The rest (about 20 jerseys) have no number on the back. These jerseys, white shorts and purple socks will be the team kit for the FROG game Nov. 6. The jerseys are generic (designed for both men and women).
