Welcome to the Facilities Services home page. We are a service-oriented department assigned to meet day to day operational needs of the university. The Office of Facilities Services is responsible for providing maintenance to all university facilities as well as new construction and renovations.
Please send us your general repair request to (workorder.request@furman.edu). This allows our shop representatives to coordinate repairs with minimal delays. Part of Facilities services' maintenance responsibilities include regular testing and maintenance of fire alarms, emergency lights and generators, elevators, exhaust fans, filters, and other health and safety equipment. These maintenance efforts are designed to prevent any surprise outages, and to protect and to minimize disruption of facility operations.
