The WGS concentration
offers a meaningful way for students to group their elective courses
in such a way as to focus on issues related to women and gender.
Students wishing to complete a concentration in Women's and Gender
Studies must take at least four courses that have been approved
for WGS concentration credit, with at least three different departments
represented.
A student may declare
a Women and Gender Studies Concentration by filling out the Field
of Study Declaration Form on the Academic
Records site. A concentration advisor will be assigned
to the student after the paperwork has been processed. The concentration
form may be filled out retroactively or after any Women’s
and Gender Studies course has already been taken. Courses for the
concentration can be taken pass/fail if they are not for major or
General Education requirement credit. For more information about
