Approved by the Suzuki Association of the Americas, the South Carolina Suzuki Institute @ Furman is a special week-long summer camp that provides an intensive musical experience for families with children who currently study an instrument through the Suzuki Method. The South Carolina institute offers activities for students, parents and teachers in a one-week session. Families enjoy attending the institute together and participating in a wide range of musical and enrichment activities. For teachers seeking Violin Bk 3 training, the institute offers Suzuki training for both prospective teachers who desire an introduction to the method and experienced teachers who wish to expand their knowledge and receive fresh inspiration. SAA-approved, our institute follows specific SAA guidelines in providing training for teachers and activities for students and parents.
