Marcella Frese Marcella Frese coordinates the various programs, workshops, concerts and conferences hosted by the Department of Music throughout the year in addition to coordinating prospective student visitations and auditions. This web site is one of her many responsibilities. Ms. Frese earned her Bachelor of Music degree in Education from Furman and is a veteran school teacher with 13 years experience as a band director and percussion educator in the state of South Carolina. She is a founding member of, and timpanist for, the Anderson Chamber Orchestra and enjoys performing in a variety of community ensembles. She is an active Rotarian, serving this year as president of the Rotary Club of the Foothills. She welcomes the opportunity of sharing the Furman experience with visitors of all ages.
