The South Carolina Suzuki Institute provides an opportunity for Suzuki students to receive concentrated study in the Suzuki method, providing motivation and reinforcement to their on-going daily study. Parents see the Suzuki approach on a larger scale and learn skills to help their children at home. Teachers and college students seeking training in the Talent Education system are introduced to the Suzuki philosophy. Experienced Suzuki teachers study and observe master teachers from across the country.

In addition to the Suzuki curriculum, the 2008 institute offers:

  • Three student levels based on Age and Performance Piece
  • Jazz Curriculum for All Advanced Students
  • Program for advanced Non-Suzuki students
  • Supplemental Literature Classes for Adv. Students
  • Improvisation classes for All Intermediate & Advanced students
  • 3 Orchestra Levels
  • Fiddling and other Enrichment Classes
